Have you ever owned a rock, pet rock, or gem that is not jewelry?
Yes, I own a wolf. He too is a rescue, had been left behind in an empty office when I found the poor thing. Our dogs accepted him surprisingly well.
What is your greatest strength or weakness?
I am a diehard optimist. I see the good in people, and I always focus on the positive. That is considered strength right? Or is it a weakness? Now I am all confused.
What makes you feel grounded?
Life and everything that comes with it is a privilege, not a right. Keeping that in mind keeps me grounded.
Would you rather never be able to eat warm food or never be able to eat cold food?
I am on the brink of becoming a vegetarian; I would give up warm food since most of today’s food seems to be overcooked or over processed anyway. Also, chocolate pralines, gummy bears, and licorice melt with heat, and that would be a disaster.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Last week was tough -work wise. I worked my buttock off from Sunday to Saturday -12 hours each day- and finally yesterday the project was done, and I felt so good about myself. I completed something that I didn’t think I could do. Numerous times did I want to throw the towel, but I finished it, and it made me feel good. I am very grateful that I could do it, I am also thankful that it’s over and done with.
The coming week will be filled with all kind of excitement like yard work, laundry, dog grooming, house cleaning and other magnificent chores that somehow seem to be my responsibility. My life is so exciting. 🙂
