I remember it well
So young and in love
cooking in the kitchen
Listening to music
Stirring pots and pans
Discussing the day
We started to dance
Swinging to the song
While barely moving
Holding each other tight
Years have passed by
We are older now
Less hair, more hips
Last night we danced
The same way we did
So many years ago
It’s all still there
Nothing has changed
We are still us
I’m one of the lucky ones … Gilles LOVES to dance. I’m usually the one who begs out first 🙂

Lovely. Why is it that men are so reluctant to dance? One of life’s mysteries.

Lovely post. I took dancing lessons for five years on my own because hubby doesn’t like to dance and I love it. However we did a lot of disco-ing in our younger years so mustn’t complain.

I am thinking about dancing lessons with my ladies group. As for my husband…it’s hopeless. 🙂

My husband can’t dance. It’s the only time we dance is at home in the kitchen . 🙂
