“Plaid Shirt Guy” – Removed for Honesty

A got a good laugh out of it, but then I felt sadness.

I have never been to a political rally, but I don’t think this is normal. The removal of law-abiding citizens, just because they don’t show the enthusiasm, they were ordered to show.

Is all of it now just a big game show? Is nothing real anymore? Is most of what I see, fake these days? Is the support for Trump and all the cheering, laughing people behind him, staged like a theater play?

Thank you “Plaid Guy”, I appreciate the honesty you showed at the rally and also in the interview.

In my books, it is normal to disagree. 100% approval is hard to come by and perhaps that’s a good thing. Honest, heartfelt criticism challenges us to be better, it forces us to be critical with ourselves and there is nothing wrong with it.

  1. I read about this in the paper, but hadn’t seen the CNN interview! I’m so glad you shared it. I can’t imagine this is typical…EVER! I’d be more upset by it, but my “alarm button” is already fully depressed! Let’s see what this week brings, right?
