It’s a powerful commercial. Very thought-provoking. Touching a subject so many know nothing about, often because we choose so.

I had two encounters with transgender people in my life and I failed them both. First I wasn’t ready, or perhaps not old enough. Then when older, I wasn’t prepared.

I hope I am ready now, but can’t be sure. I have mixed emotions, something I should perhaps not confess so openly.

Now older I know what I would like to stand for, so it’s up to me to change and make it happen. For me! For others! To take a stand!

A grandfather is learning how to use makeup to help his transgender grandchild.

The message of the commercial is simple. Love conquers all.
