I watched my husband coloring a printed easter egg, carefully he chalked the lines of the little flowers in the egg, made sure they all had different colors. Six of our painted eggs hang on our front windows, so the kids could have an easter egg-counting-hunt, by foot, walking with their parents, or riding in the car, because of the moody April weather. I should write how it all makes me feel, yet I am lost for words. I didn’t expect a call like this, didn’t think I could be of any help, yet I was and it left me with mixed emotions.
