Time is flying lately. It seems like every time I turn around there is another week gone. It was just summer, now it’s fall and I know that once again, I will be surprised by how quickly the Holiday season will be here. Continue reading
Yesterday, on my way home, I stopped at McDonald’s what doesn’t happen often. I wanted something to drink and something small to eat, because my stomach was growling. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and something to drink for me and saw on the menu, that you could have an order of 6, 9 or 12 chicken mcnuggets. I had Patches, our fast growing puppy in the car, so I thought I get her a treat as well. Continue reading
You get to redesign school as we know it from the ground up. Will you do away with reading, writing, and arithmetic? What skills and knowledge will your school focus on imparting to young minds?

A friend gave me the book “Eat, Pray, Love” and I wasn’t too thrilled about it. I had listened to a few interviews about the book and didn’t really understand what all the fuzz was about. Continue reading
Last weeks “Knock, Knock writing challenge” was a big success. OK maybe not a big success when compared to other challenges, but it was a big success for my little blog. I enjoyed reading all the posts and it made me wonder how many more treasures we have hidden in our archives. Continue reading
Oh Boy is it time already? Is my time up? Does that mean last year was the last year on this wonderful, crazy planet or does it mean this year is the last year of my life? Now I am all confused. Maybe I read the question wrong. Nope, it says “from the last year of your life” very confusing. Continue reading
