What was your favorite subject in school?
When I started school, it was gymnastics, when I ended school it was history. The right teacher at the right moment got me interested, and it never stopped. I am a history geek to this day.
If you could have a servant come to your house every day for two hours, what would you have them do?
A servant? Really? Knowing me, I would probably cook for the servant. Or worst I would stay behind him (or her) and check out if they would do it right. I don’t think I am “servant material.” Bathrooms and floors are the biggest problem areas in our nuthouse, it would be nice if someone would take care of it. Maybe a fairy? Is there a Bathroom and Floor Fairy?
Where did you live when you were in the third grade of school? Is it the same place or town you live now?
During the week I lived in a boarding school in the South of Germany. I spend every other weekend and Holidays at home on our farm. The farmhouse was in the Alps in Austria, parts of our land belonged to Italy.
In your opinion, list some places that are great for shopping?
I hate shopping, I do. I try to do most online these days and hope they will soon invent a virtual grocery store. Imagine, we would jump in our virtual shopping card and roll down the aisle and pick up product with a mouse click. 3-D pictures of all the products, moving pictures. A real grocery store just in the computer…my dreams would come true.
Great places for online shopping: Amazon, eBay, Wayfair and Houzz and Barnes and Nobles in real life, because I love bookstores.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?
Lately, I feel very grateful in general. Nothing, in particular, just an overall feeling. As for next week. Well, I will be one year older, and I think this could be fun. Finally, this dreadful election will be over and TADAH I will get a new President for my Birthday.
Also, I will have finished my work at a restaurant (what was unpleasant as well.) Lot’s to look forward to!

Are those actual photos from where you lived? Or near it? Wow. Have I ever said I LOVE mountains?
… and shopping is where we start to deviate. I LOVE shopping – if only I had the bank account to accommodate my passion for it 😉
Grocery shopping? Not so much. We do however have online grocery shopping here with scheduled home delivery. I’ve never used it though. Probably because I enjoy shopping in general more than I dislike grocery shopping.

I hadn’t the coordination for gymnastics, but enjoyed rugby and cricket. History was my favourite subject, too. I don’t count English Literature as a subject, because it was part of my life.

I want floor and dust fairies too. And bathroom and cooking and laundry fairies. Ha ha. Happy Birthday, Bridget. I hope you get a positive outcome to the election as your gift! 😀
